Prairie Wind Photography Blog Site

I guess it's time I entered the 21st century and learned how to blog. It is my hope to chronical my photography and thru it explore the world. Though primarily a nature photographer I occasionally shoot portraits, families and high school senior portraits. Wildlife is and always will be my passion and I will photograph anything from butterflies to bears.
In September we will be taking a 3 week trip across the west to Oregon and points in between. It is my intention to come home with some fantastic photos from all across the west.
Some of my favorites so far from past trips come from Yellowstone, Bear Tooth Pass in Montana and the Badlands in South Dakota. I was lucky enough on my last trip to come thru the Badlands just before sunset and after a thunderstorm. I had a beautiful pure light and a fantastic sky, a photographers dream.
